Professor Ausbra Ford created an intricate mixed-media sculpture MAA KHEREW (True of Voice) as a tribute to Dr. Jacob H. Carruthers Jedi Shemsu Jehewty. Ausbra's work possesses a spiritual quality based on his many travels, where he has studied the funeral arts of African cultures. Ausbra's exploration of Kemetic (Egyptian) thought, interpreted through the teachings of his mentor and friend Dr. Jacob H. Carruthers.
